Aisi hi sard shaam thi woh bhi,
jab woh mehndi rachaaye haathon mein,
apni aahat ke khauf se larazaan,
soorkh aanchal mein munh chhipaaye hue,
apne khat mujh se lene aayi thi..
Uss ki sehmi hui nigaahon mein,
kitni khamosh iltizaayen thi..
uss ke chehre ki zard rangat mein,
kitni majburiyon ke saaye the..
mere haathon se khat pakadte hi,
jaane kya soch kar achaanak woh,
mera shaana pakad kar roi thi..
uss ke yaqoot rang honthon ke,
kampkapaate hue kinaron par,
sat beete hue zamane the,
saikadon ankahe fasaane the..
Sard shaamon mein der tak aksar,
jab ye manzar dikhai deta hai..
ek lamha, hinaai haathon se..
mujh ko apni taraf bulata hai..
humnashin rooth kar na ja mujh se ..!!
